Hartland Community Center, 210 Cottonwood Ave, Hartland, WI
Meditation is not chasing thoughts out of the mind to create a blank state. It is actually a deliberate arising and gathering of positive states of mind to lead you toward happiness. Use meditation to decrease the mental chatter in your head for better decision-making, relax the body and mind to decrease chronic stress, and find inner spiritual balance. In this class you will experience different types of meditation including guided visualizations, moving meditations, mantras, breathing techniques and strategies to calm the mind and allow you to go inside. We will also discuss mindfulness strategies to help you remain calm and focused in your every day life. A blanket or shawl is optional. Taught by Kathy Levac RN, MS, MQT
